This is a collection of the greatest achievements of mankind, I've maybe left out a few but there are certainly some impressive pictures of the greatest structures man has built. Ryugyong Hotel, Pyongyang, North Korea

This is one of the world's largest buildings with 360,000 m² of gross floor area and the world's largest (and tallest) un-occupied building.

Taj Mahal, Agra, India

Sears Tower, Chicago

This tower contains 3.8 million square feet (350,000 m²) of floor area.

Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia

Taipei Tower, Taiwan

Empire State Building, NY

The Chicago Merchandise Mart

This is the largest commercial building in the world with 390,000 m² (4.2 million ft²).

The Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, Romania

This place has a total of 2,550,000 m³ or 90 052 400.1 cubic feet. It takes third place in the world total office space (useable floor space) provided.

Stonehenge in Salisbury, north-west of England

The thing that is probably the most interesting about it is the question that hasn't been answered yet and that is : "How did they get the stones that weigh a few tons on top of the other ones, when they didn't have any mechanical devices to help them?"

on that first graphic of the building comparisons, the Sears Tower is shown to be taller than the Petronas Towers, even though the heights below each building say that the Petronas Towers are taller

john, the height is measured without the antenna's. On the Petronas Towers the antenna's are part of the structure so they are included in the height of the building. On the Sears Tower they aren't. But the Sears Tower is still the building with the highest accessible floor.

Uh what about the space station? Lol.... Id say thats the greatest achievement of mand kind known to date.

If the world has riched this owesome level this time, i don't know the type of buildings we will have in the 22nd or 3rd centuries. Wow.
