Camping Sucks!!

We've started a whole new SITE!!

Our new site is completely dedicated to celebrities, their childhood pictures, high school pictures and facts about their life. All the posts are separated into different categories. For now we have three main categories: "Celebrities Then and Now"(like the name of the site), "Celebrities X" and "Celebrities Timeline". Be sure to check it out and find out what's it all about. This is a carnivorous centipede called Scolopendra gigantea. It's giant flesh eating worm that feeds it self with smaller animals like mice, bats etc. It is extremly big and it can take a chunk of your thumb or ear in one bite. After I found these pictures I say: "CAMPING SUCKS !!" Imagine waking up in the middle of the night in your tent with nothing but a flashlight and seeing a bunch of these things biting on you elbows and legs. Cute, aren't they..

In this picture you can see gigantea slowly enjoying her meal, a bat she caught moments earlyer..

This picture is alittle blury but thats her in comparison to an ordinary lab mouse..

What they don't tell you is that it's only found in the tropic areas and south america...so don't worry too much

Besides not being a worm, whats the habitat of this centipede? Im pretty sure most of us dont have to worry about them.

I believe these are found in and around caves in South America...

Centipedes are more closely related to scorpions; not worms at all.
They're venomous too. If they bite you, it's not just a chunk of flesh coming off...whatever they bite swells up like a rattlesnake bit you...major ugly and not a good thing.

What does this have to do with camping... your generalization makes no sense.

A better association would be: "Why Nature Sucks." or "Why Giant Insects Suck."

Whatever, these things only live in Western South America. Unless you go camping in Peru I wouldn't worry about them.
