Sean, Gemlins will mulitply if u get them wet and only the cute furry ones like Gizmo. Its if u let them eat after midnight they turn in to those creepy looking cats and water has no effect on them in that state.
Anyway, why would anyone want to have a furless cat. I thought the whole point of having a cat was so u had something soft and furry to hug.

Kelli, the creepy looking ones are just as susceptible to water as the fuzzy ones. That's why there was such a scare when they went near the swimming pool in the department store.

Looks like the cat fell into a boiling pot of water for about three days. Egh!

Water does make gremlins multiply just like their furry mogwai (sp?) counterparts. Stripe used it to try to defeat Gizmo in the first movie. He got himself wet in the fountain then gizmo opened the blinds and fried him with sunlight.

I have a few questions:
1. are they cats or dogs?
2. wasn't gizmo a ferbie?
3. if I accidently killed my pet lizard, do you think I would kill these to?
4. they look like my elbows, is that normal?
