Look at the facial expression on these pictures. These animals are so convincing that you just can't resist them. I don't think they were modified in photoshop but it's almost impossible to believe that an animal can say so much with one facial expression.     the cat was most DEFINITELY modified, but the puppy is probably natural, hes not doing anything crazy.

    The cat picture isn't modified! if you take it into a photo editor and lighten it up a bit you find its inside a shower cabinet being given a wash down with a hand held shower rose. The person (naked by the way) whose in there doing this has taken care not to wet down the cat's head so the form of the body (wet) looks very different from the look of the head (dry)
