April 24th 2006 a young boy passed out in Sao Paulo/Brazil with no preceding indications of any kind of illness. Emergency unit transfered him immediately to the nearest hospital only to find that all hope is gone for the 10 year old boy. Cause of death: bloated stomach, died of suffocation.. The autopsy showed that the reason of this event was a mixture of food and drinks the boy consumed during that day. They finally found out that the real cause of death was a mixture of substances found in Coca-Cola light and Mentos !! According to doctor Alexander B. Mergenthaler the substances from Cola light and Mentos in combination creates a substance Ta9V4 witch releases a giant amount of gas!! For more stories about people check out the category..

Here is the reaction of Cole to the famous Mentos!! Imagine it happening in your stomach!!

In the meantime Coca -Cole and Mentos had no response to these events!!

This is asinine. The reaction is simply the carbonation of the Coke being released by the divots in the mentos. By pouring the soda into ANY other container (including your mouth), you would let off the CO2.

Though it is a cool experiment, saying it was the cause of death is just stupid.
