One of the most common criticisms of video games are that they allegedly increase violent tendencies among youth. This anti-violence propaganda is a cool way to explain to the general public that by buying these video games we train our children to become killers. Some socials studies confirm that video games do not contribute to these problems, while others claim to have established a link. Either way I find these pictures very interesting and they certainly made me think about that problem.

Why do all the ads begin with "he"? Do they think that there are only boys who play video games?

Oh yeah sure, before videogames no one was ever murdered. EVER!

And if a teenager decides to go on a rampage and shoot innocent people its not because of bad parenting or some form of mental illness --- NO! --- its videogames!

    ugh...what a bunch of crap.

Dur, yeah, because EVERY video game ever made is violent, no exceptions!!!!!

My urge to kill is at its peak because I played Tetris on the game boy a lot in elementary school!!!

Age restrictions are there for a reason. How about instead of asking someone else to raise your kids for you, you just do it yourself?

What I find hilarious is the fact that all these kids are under the age of 15. Why you ask? THEY SHOULDN'T BE PLAYING ANYWAY! my point is, bad parents shouldn't be so fast to shunt on the blame. If you don't want your child playing an MA15+ game with heavy violence, frequent coarse language, etc. then don't! But, don't come and ruin it for the rest of us.

poorly done photoshop, but alway fun to laugh at the people behind them:P

Ban everything. That way we can completely get rid of anything resembling parental responsibility and properly raising children! It makes it so much easier on the parents when they have to take absolutely no responsibility for their child.

While we're at it, let's get rid of free speech. I think people able to speak their minds freely will only put terrible ideas in the minds of our children and cause them to become mass murders after several minutes.

personally i think its not the video games that "idiots" like these think they corrupt their children.
its the children themselves, if a child who is not emotionally troubled and plays Gears of War for a excessive amount of time, he wont suddenly have a need to kill
however a kid who has emotional issues(i.e. depression, etc.) he might be likely to act out. Also its the parents too. The way they act, bleeds onto the kids, they follow their parent's footsteps

Some of these Pictures are more violent than most games I play. I found this while trying to look up stupid journalists.

Blaming video games for the violence in our world is outrageous, by comparison it's much like blaming mis-spelled words on your pencil. I'm no collage grad. but I do believe that it's the individuals responcibility to account for their own actions, and I'm certian that most court systems would agree. It to is the parents responcibility to know what games your children have access to. I'm a parent and this is not an issue in my house, I play what some may call "violent" games but I to am responcable enough to make sure that my children are not allowed access or even to watch me play.
